CARRYING ON ABOUT LOTS OF LAYERS AT KNIT WIT...

It’s that time again…another fabulous photoshoot at Knit Wit (and just in time for fall)! The focus here is all about layering. Whether you’re coordinating an ensemble for day or night, layering looks is a great way to not only stay warm when the temperatures drop but also an easy way to look super chic! Don’t be afraid to mix and match pieces in your wardrobe. Pair a feminine top with a cozy masculine sweater or a classic button down shirt with a fitted cardigan. The options are endless!

Now for a stylish giveaway for all of my marvelous readers. Simply “like” Carrying On About Style and Knit Wit on Facebook. Then leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite trend this season (please remember to include your email address). The winner will receive the adorable Hansel from Basel Polka Dot Bag (seen below). Polka dots are incredibly hot at the moment and I absolutely adore them. Deadline for entry is next Friday, October 21st.

  1. Cute bag -- I'm a polka dot fan too. My favorite trend I've seen at some shops this season is lace!

  2. Liked both pages. My fave trend this season is camel; too bad I lost my fave camel jacket 2 years ago! Oh well, time to buy a new one. ;-) I've also bought a ton of stripes this season, so glad to see it in flattering cuts and shapes.

  5. I don't really have a style...I do like polka dots but tend to go for whatever fits. I realize how sad that is.
    LOL!

  6. I am crazy over ballet flats right now...they are so comfy when chasing after the kiddos but still look darling.

  7. My favorite trend? The fact that skinny jeans seem to be gone! Really though, I love all the scarves that I am seeing. smfriel2 (at) gmail -dot- com
